The surroundings (sight-seeing)
When you drive into our street, you will immediately understand why we wanted to live here. Green, wide and peaceful. A lovely place to calm down. But also nicely located so that you will reach a city or picturesque village in no time.
Amsterdam
Within twenty driving minutes or a small hour by public transportation you will reach Amsterdam. Of course we don’t have to write down the sights of this metropolis. During the day you can dive into everything the bubbly city of Mokum has to offer and at night you can relax in our garden or put your feet up on the comfy couch before you go to sleep in your spacious bed
Zaanse Schans
When in Holland, you have to visit Zaanse Schans. Beautiful, unique and full of windmills, artisan shops and museums.
Purmerend
On a bike or by car, Purmerend is closeby. Shops, terraces, cinema, theater and restaurants.
Monnickendam
At the same distance as Purmerend, but in the opposite direction, you will find the sweet village of Monnickendam. At the cosy harbour you can sit and enjoy a coffee, grab some lunch, have drinks and dine.
Edam
The suburb of Volendam has so much to offer herself. A beautiful village to stroll or cycle and enjoy the small streets and nice bars.
Volendam
The fishing village with the famous ‘palingsound’, who hasn’t heard of it? You will reach it within 10 minutes, after wich you can stroll over the famous Dijk and eat delicous fresh fish.
Beemster
The Dutch cheese region, beautiful surroundings and cosy hideaways. You will get there in only fifteen minutes. Say cheese!
